The local new business initiative,
Me & FYC, is on its way to Blackpool! The scheme, which has been spearheaded by Blackpool-Manchester fashion boutique Me & Yu, has called on local artists, designers and all-round creatives to submit ideas for a range of unique and alternative souvenirs for our quirky seaside town.
The final selection of products will be on sale in the pop-up boutique which can be found in
FYCreatives on Church Street, Blackpool from Friday 17th August.
As you may know I submitted a few designs and had my ideas for some hair grips accepted! I am busy scurrying away, crafting them in time for the deadline on 1st August. This page will feature all the latest developments of my journey to create the hair grips to time along with step by step photographs of the making of the products.
The boutique will open on Friday 17th August at 11am and close on Saturday 1st September at 5pm. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm so make sure you nip in and take a gander, if not at least make a purchase! Remember, this scheme supports local entrepreneurs, businesses and crafters! What could be more fulfilling?
